Inclusive Playgrounds
We believe that every child should be able to enjoy a trip to the playground. Unfortunately, not every playground has been updated to meet new industry standards.
Mulch ground covering, uneven surfaces, and limited disability-inclusive play equipment create environments that unintentionally make it difficult for children with disabilities to enjoy time at the playground.
Disability-inclusive playgrounds include accessible pathways and firm surfaces, sensory stations, and varied structures to support a range of abilities and physical needs.
We work with towns and partners to renovate playgrounds with inclusiveness in mind. To date, we have donated $50,000 USD to fund inclusive playground equipment!
Playgrounds We've Helped
We partner with town officials to provide adaptive equipment.
